die daily was established 2021 in seattle, washington.
originally developed as a conceptual master's thesis by kate willman (now kate nichols), the die daily program is quickly expanding into a multi-experiential approach to life and wellbeing.
we are discovering and practicing myriad applications for our platform, as well serving as a holistic, existential, action-oriented and person-centered treatment modality.
die daily is guided by the principles and practices of several longstanding and respected approaches to mental health + spirituality:
-
ACT (Acceptance + Commitment Therapy) founded by Steven Hayes;
-
existential psychotherapy as practiced by Irvin Yalom;
-
transpersonal psychology as developed by Abraham Maslow + Viktor Frankl;
-
thanatological study as researched and perpetuated by the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC);
-
narrative therapy as established by Michael White and practiced by James Pennebaker;
-
elements of the collective unconscious and its archetypal iterations as theorized by Carl Jung.
we are ever-changing and always seeking to grow.
